C’est juste avant la grande inondation du fameux local de musique REDRUM à Genève que Maspin et Purpura ont joint leurs 4 bras pour imbriquer ensemble violon, beats et distorsions. Une escalade sans cordage ni assurance dans les pierres sèches vers un spectre sonore total, la tête hors de l’eau afin de mieux observer les fissures se former sous leurs doigts. It was just before the great flood of the famous REDRUM music studio in Geneva that Maspin and Purpura joined their 4 arms to interweave violin, beats and distortions together. A climb without ropes or insurance in the dry stones towards a total sound spectrum, the head above the water in order to better observe the cracks forming under their fingers. Making us wonder who opened the floodgates…

Réalisés, enregistrés et tournés en janvier 2020, ces 4 morceaux imbriqués les uns dans les autres en live nous mettent le casque et la combi pour une session de spéléologie en circuits imprimés. On entend crisser l’électricité, tournoyante en boucle dans la table de mix, agrippant les rythmes, les notes et les mélodies pour les faire plonger au fond de la grotte, là où on rencontre son double, sombre et frais.

Produced, recorded and toured in January 2020, these 4 tracks nested one in the other in live put us the wetsuit for a session of caving in printed circuits. We hear the electricity crunching, whirling in a loop in the mixer, gripping the rhythms, notes and melodies to make them plunge to the bottom of the cave, where we meet our twin, dark and fresh.
