Anna-Maria Rammou and Laurent Güdel met at KSYME – Contemporary Music Research Center in Athens in 2019 and discussed working on a future audio publication. For ‘Two Rooms’, they each composed a sound piece somewhere between noise and electronics (‘In a room A1 & B1’) and recorded the sonic environment audible from their respective home studios (‘From a room A2 & B2’). As the two musicians were not able to work in the same physical space, listening to these recordings allowed them to imagine the sensation that a visit to the other’s studio might have produced.
